It's fucking 2 degrees outside! As soon as I step outside, I turn into a human popsicle. Eek! Well, at least I'm heading out to Denver today. I don't know if the weather is any better out there, but I have a feeling that it can't be this cold out there! This was a last minute trip, and as you know, I HATE last minute trips. But at least I know some people out there, so the trip shouldn't be too bad.
Yesterday, Melanie suggested that we go out and eat at Todai, this all-you-can-eat seafood/sushi buffet out in Schaumburg. It was me, Fatima, Chariya, Mike and Mel that went, and let me tell you, they should NEVER have 'all-you-can-eat' and 'sushi' in the same sentence. I had maybe 4 plates of food, not counting the 3 plates of dessert I had. We were there for hours, just eating and eating and eating. We definitely ate our money's worth, if not 4 times that. There was SO much food there, sushi, sashimi, rolls, lobster, crab legs, teriyaki, my head is still spinning, and my belly is still full. I ate so much I couldn't breate. But my belly is also VERY happy. It was a TON of fun at dinner. Haven't gone out with those girls in a while, and we laughed a lot. And I think the laughter helped to settle our stomachs so we could eat more. It was a lot of fun!

After that, we went to go see baby Jilly over at Maui and Jane's. She's so adorable, and I actually held her for 15 minutes before she started crying. Wait until she's 2, the gal is gonna love me!

but seeing how i've had it for the past four out of five days, i've had my sushi fill. =)
