Uh-oh. There's a street market next to my building. I'm debating. Do I go and spend loads of money on little trinkets and pieces of art that catch my eye, but will just add to the disaster of a mess that I call my room? Hmm....after putting it that way. No! I will not go! I will control myself! OK, maybe I'll stop by for a little after work. heh heh.

Taste of Chicago starts today. Hooray! This is my favorite time of year in Chicago. Anytime anyone out of town asks me about Chicago, I always tell them to come when the Taste is going on. That way, you can sample the best of what Chicago has to offer - which, of course, is the food. But we've also got a whole bunch of performers in town, there's street markets everywhere, the weather is sunny and warm, the lake looks beautiful, and fireworks on the 3rd, with a million of your closest friends packed right next to you on the lakefront. Ahh...I love this time of the year! How sucky it is that I have to watch if from my window! But that's ok. I'll prolly head out to the Taste on Monday. Yay fun!
