Well, back from Iowa. The drive was SO long, and if I never see another stalk of corn for the rest of my life, I should be okay. Miles and miles of corn, as far as the eye could see. Kudos to Dan for staying up on the ride home. I would have fallen asleep without his stimulating conversation. The move went OK. Claudine seemed to pick the apartment that was farthest away from the stairs, and to move on the hottest and most humid day of the year. But she had air conditioning, so I didn't mind as much. But I think I pulled a muscle in my arm. Ouch. I'm a wimp when it comes to manual labor!

As for today, I used up my 'Drive in to work once a week' day. I was just too lazy to wake up on time! I'm also trying to think of what comics I need to strike off my list today. I've promised myself to take five comics off my list. It's so hard making that cut! Save! Save! Save! That will be the motto for the next year.
