It was a fun Halloween. Our work party was a success. We had a great selection of food, and the decorations fit the mood nicely. The dirt pie was much anticipated and appreciated. Hopefully I'll get some pics up this weekend. (along with the rest of the pics I've taken in the last 3 months!) We had a little gathering at Melanie's place, ate wings and White Castle and watched Friends and the movie 'Frailty'. 'Frailty' was a pretty good movie, though I missed a little 'cuz I fell asleep. I stayed up too late the night before making my dirt pie.

Oh, and I was 'The Wicked Witch of the West Siiiiiide'. Pretty lame, but I was in a pinch!

Stupid Invention of the Day - Today at work we're discussing what kind of underwear that women find sexiest, and being the only woman in my area, they asked me. So I told them boxer briefs. Then it came down to discussing solid vs. pattern, then solid (solid). Then what colors (dark). From there, it progressed to dark colors being better to hide certain stains. So they then came up with an invention - having a strip in the back of your underwear so when it gets, uh, unclean, you tear off the strip and there's a new strip underneath. Geniuses. I work with geniuses! Who needs to do laundry? Not my boys!

Looks like winter is upon us. The temp right now is 36 degrees, and it's only November 1st. The average for this time is the mid 50s. Ack! And after the time change, it's dark when I go home. It's quite shocking to look out the window at 5pm and see all the streetlights on.

And now, a moment of silence for Jam Master J of Run DMC and Darrian Chapman, a Chicago newscaster, who both passed away this week.
