Today the president of my company handed out our Christmas presents - a charcoal grey company shirt (which is way cooler than the other ones that we have), a pretty snazzy metal lifetime guaranteed pen, and A RAISE! Whoo hoo! It's not a huge raise, but we''ve had a pay freeze for the longest time, so any money is a good thing. It really helps out this year, with the wedding coming and all. I'm not going to complain at all. I'm pretty thankful, and I'd have to say a little surprised. I was expecting a gift certificate for dinner or something like that! Maybe work doesn't suck THAT bad. Well, just some people at work suck!
