Yesterday we went out to Hooters with Mike and Don, who just recently moved back to Chicago from San Francisco. I guess they miss the cold weather and crappy football team. (What are they thinking!) Anyway, it was great to see them again, and to hang out and laugh. And to eat, of course - I love the shrimp there. The clam chowder is pretty tasty, too. I've really missed seeing these guys around. It'll be great to have them around again.

Damn the Jets for losing. I think it's because I didn't watch the game. Oh well. Maybe next year I'll make some money in the football pool!

It's back to work today. It's freezing in the office. I'm turning into a little popsicle. Luckily I've got my superwarm fleece on. Hopefully no one notices that I'm going against company dress code with my warm fleece hoodie. But hey, when they get the building to an acceptable temperature where I can feel my fingers when I type.
