Today we took down our Christmas tree. I remember when we were younger, all we pretty much had to do was take down the ornaments and our dad would take care of the rest of it, packing the ornaments, taking off the lights, packing the tree, and bringing all the boxes upstairs to the attic for storage. But today, it was just me and Fatima (Claudine helped and took down two strands of beads - she had to leave for school). Not as fun as when we were kids, and a LOT more work lugging those boxes around. BUt we did have a couple good laughs when I put 'Jump Around' on the CD player and did my crazy cheerleader dance. I was dancing around the living room like the biggest 'tard and I was concentrating on my stupid dancing so much that I started drooling. Yeah. I'm cool. Then came the whole adventure of lugging the tree up to the attic where me and Fatima laughed so hard we actually cried.
Yes. I count today's adventures as exercise.
Ohh..Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is on TV!
