Well, I've finally finished the reorganization of the site. It may not seem like there's been any big changes, but trust me, they're there. First thing, I'm off Blogger. I've moved on to Moveable Type. I've heard it's a lot better, and from my preliminary tests, it looks like it is. Also, with MT, I get my own comment boxes. YACCS has been so unstable lately I've been going crazy. So I don't have to worry about it anymore.
I've updated the art gallery to have my favorite comics and artists. Coming soon in that area, I'll have my photos posted up there. I like to take silly pictures. And serious ones, too.
The picture gallery probably has the biggest changes. It's got thumbnails now, and opens up in it's own window with a caption. It was a bitch to set up, but I think it's worth it.
So look around. Some stuff isn't all together there yet, but if you see anything really funky, just comment or shoot me an email. I'm always changing things in here.
Thanks a lot for coming by. It's really appreciated. I never knew that so many people would be coming by my site. Thanks to all of you, commenters and lurkers. I'm having a lot of fun with this, and I'm glad that you're enjoying reading it.

Posted by: bernadette on January 2, 2003 06:15 AMi'm not sure if there is an import feature for Blogger entries... i never bothered searching for that tool... when i was on Blogger and then moved to Greymatter, i just downloaded (via FTP) all the Blogger entries to my hard drive and then uploaded them to a separate directory on my webspace. are you able to at least get your Blogger entries?
everytime i moved from one CMS to another, i just started all over but had links to past entries in a huge archive.
Posted by: Kathy on January 2, 2003 09:59 AMMel - I never ventured into the MT world, but with pMachine, the instructions are extremely easy to follow... it literally took me 5 minutes. The only thing that took the most time was creating the MySQL database (which you'll have to see if your webhost supports that), getting the appropriate settings and typing them into the config file.

I'm not sure how you export from Blogger...good question. I'll have to look it up.
